Launched Funk Park Rangers Website

Funk Park Rangers is one of Warsaw, Indiana’s favorite bands! We’re excited that we got to work with them on their new site.  They wanted a new site that would allow them to post upcoming shows, news articles, photos, videos and interact with Facebook.

The site has a full content management system (CMS) that allows them to log in and update the content themselves whenever they want.  Visitors to their site can like and comment on their upcoming shows and news to help spread the word to their friends on Facebook.

If you’re looking for web design in Warsaw, IN make sure you contact us and we’ll be happy to help you on your project!

Make sure you go check out their next show!

Using Facebook with Your Website

Social networking is a great way to spread the word about you and your services.  It may be someone “liking” your website or commenting on a blog post that drives your next customer to you.  When someone interacts with one of Facebook’s Social Plugins on your site, that information is added to their profile which can be seen by all of their friends.  This is instant access to hundreds of people who may not know that you exist (but now they do)!

The image above is a Facebook application developed as a “welcome” to anyone visiting 1Eight Design’s page who is not our fan or not logged in.  This instantly gives them an insight of what we do.  We kept ours simple but there is a lot more that you can do with Facebook applications.

You’ll also see that we’ve added the “Like” button and Facebook Comments to our blog.  The comment plugin is a great way to make sure actual people are submitting comments but it also may deter people as well because their name will be shown.

We are currently working with a client in Warsaw, IN that will utilize Facebook for its users to log into their site. More on that once its released!

If you want to integrate Facebook into your site or have a web design project, contact us today!
